Mass Effect 1 patch v1.02 doesn't work
I get stuck at Fero's elevator, i did some research and people say that installing patch 1.02 will fix this error but everytime i run the patch it says "Mass Effect not found please reinstall the gam...

In order to patch the game, a file MassEffectLauncher.exe needs to be present in the root of the install directory. So probably c:\program files (x86)\origin games\mass effect\ If it's not there, just open Notepad, click on Save As, change file type to All Files, then name the file MassEffectLauncher.exe and make sure it is in the above directory (or wherever your game is installed. Just make sure it's that folder, and not one of the subfolders such as binaries)

I've tried doing all that, and the patcher (MassEffect_EFIGS_1.02) still turns the empty launcher file in game version 1.01. I hope that makes sense. Please, can anyone help me?
Where exactly are you putting the MassEffectLauncher.exe file? Paste the path.
