Mass Effect 1 PS3 Noveria finish mission glitch

So I've Googled everything I can regarding this glitch but cannot find an answer.  I defeated Benezia and finished the hot labs, but when I go on the tram back to the rift station or whatever, it doesn't trigger the cutscene or anything.  In my journal Noveria: Rift Station and Noveria: Death of a Matriarch aren't shaded grey to say it's complete.  When I expand the journal, mission complete isn't checked off, and neither is breaking in under rift station.

I thought it wouldn't matter so I kept playing the game, and well, I don't think until those two things shade themselves out can I get to the conduit.  This is an immense piss off.
