Mass Effect 1 won't start ! HELP !

Same problem

PC

Digital download (Origin, ME Trilogy)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 560 3.3 GHz, 12 GB RAM

Video: Nvidia GTX 295, 1792MB GDDR3, driver version 310.70

Sound: Integrated Realtek ALC888

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1

DirectX 11

 

Origin version 9.1.3.2637 - 204018

 

Problem

Nothing happens after cloud sync.

    Has each of the last two members adding comments here already updated the game with the latest patch?  The available versions are all still unpatched, and the game simply cannot run in newer Windows versions until after it is patched.

      MassEffect.exe - v1.02

      MassEffectConfig.exe - v1.02

      Upd:

      Running with admin rights and XP Compatibility mode does not help

      Hi,

      Please, can you tell me where can I find those patches?

      I've the same problem: I got a crahs at startup, just when it seems that the syncing has finished.

      Operating System:
      Windows 7

      Processor:
      i5 2500K 3.3GHz (4.5GHz@1.320V dvcore)


      Memory:
      8 Gigabyte Ram

      Video Card:
      Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WF3

      Hard Drive Space:

      (external USB Hard Drive) 120 Gigabytes free ...

        How to fix this problem:   Just start Origin.exe in the folder of origin with Administration permissions. it works for me. Regards
