Mass Effect 2 - Bought DLC, but where are the redemption codes?

I bought Mass Effect 2 from Steam.

Today I purchased some Shadow Broker and Kasumi. I could then see them on my "registered game content" page, so I downloaded and installed them, along with the 5 free DLC (Normandy Crash Site, etc.).

Unfortunately, when I ran Mass Effect 2, I got the error "Unable to authorize the listed DLC" for both Shadow Broker and Kasumi. I googled the error, and it seems the consensus is that we need to redeem our DLC codes with Cerebus.

So my question is this: Where are the redemption codes?

I received 3 emails regarding my DLC purchases:

1) receipt for 1600 BioPoints ($20)

2) receipt for Shadow Broker (800 BioPoints)

3) receipt for Kasumi (560 BioPoints)

None of those emails mentions a redemption code. They have order numbers, but no other codes.

So, how can we get redemption codes for DLC which we purchase through BioWare?

Thanks!

  • The DLCs don't have redemption codes. Google has failed you. Normally the DLC should be associated with your account and the authorization process should go flawlessly, except if you're Polish, Czech or Hungarian, since some DLC is not compatible in these regions.

If that isn't the issue, contact official support at http://help.ea.com/contact-us and see if they can figure it out.
