I'm also having this problem. It's almost 2022, and they still haven't patched this yet. I didn't have the problem earlier this year when I did my romance, but with Tali on this current playthrough, the screen goes black right after I confirm the dialog option to lock in the romance. Very annoying.
So nobody is going to fix the issue? Smh I rlly don’t feel like doing different play throughs of ME2 just to romance someone different.
Thanks for the info. I’m not looking forward to repeating Project Overlord💀 great story but very tedious and boring gameplay in my opinion.
I'm going to probably do a few more playthroughs anyway. I managed to actually get the screen back after fumbling with buttons and talking with Donnelly. The screen was black during the conversation, but had the text on screen. It came back after I finished that dialog. I also screwed this playthrough up, and couldn't get Kelly up for dinner, so she's dead in ME3. /shrug
