Are these ones good?
Yes they are perfect.
Go to your ">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\Binaries\Core" folder and delete the "ActivationUI.exe"
Then repair the game. (in Origin > Game Library > right click ME2 > Repair) > test.
If that don't helps, go to your ">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\Binaries" folder and rename the "MassEffect2.exe" to "MassEffect2Launcher.exe"
Then rename the "ME2Game.exe" to "MassEffect2.exe" > test.
If that also don't helps, run the Windows System File Checker Sfc /scannnow and post the concluding message.

Please clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)
- close Origin completely. (right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder. (The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)- Delete the "Mass Effect 2" folder in the "LocalContent" folder.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%AppData%" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on the word "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder
- Restart your PC. > testIf that also not works, create a new Windows user account (Administrator) > reboot > log in to the new account and teste the game there.

Leave it to Origin. To create problems. Earlier this year I was able to run all Mass Effect games. Then by August I had problems with mass 4, mass 3 and now mass 2. Getting back to mass 4. That problem got resolved by doing a full windows 10 reinstall. If you talk to the so called experts at Origin, they are quick to blame windows 10 for the problems. With Mass 3 and 2 its a direct x issue I am seeing. You try to tell them that the game was working up to some point. May as well be talking to a wall. Tried to complain about all of the BS I seen from about 90% of there support staff. The last 3 times I tried they wanted a read out of the system. They don't have any direct answers. No wonder Mass effect 4 wasn't accepted. So much for bioware making decent games, they have a support staff (Origin) is pretty much a laughing stock of the industry. They owe their customers better. Not cop out answers.
