Mass Effect 2 BSN Registration

From previous posts, it doesn't seem like there's a lot I can do besides post here, so, here it is.

When attempting to register my mass effect 2 copy (purchased through origin) on the BSN, I get an error claiming that the key is not valid for that game. It's for pc, and the code was copy-pasted directly into the bar from the origin launcher, so there's no possibility of a typo or human error in the process. Thank you for any help you can provide in advance.

Edit: I was able to get this solved by contacting ea help under the origin category.
