Mass effect 2 crash on origin launch
I click on launch game, it takes me to a white screen and brings me back to origin with no error. I've tried to troubleshoot by: - using legacy and new physx drivers - disabling origin/cloud saves...

- Make sure Origin or Steam are closed.
- Go to your "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2" folder.
- Move the "Save" folder to your desktop. > Test.
Thanks for the suggestion, still the same error.
Even tried reinstalling.
Move the "BIOGame" folder out of the "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2" folder as well > Test.
If that also don't works:
- Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\__Installer\vc\vc2005\redist" folder.
- Run the "vcredist_x86.exe" as administrator. (Right click the Exe > Run as an Administrator)
- Reboot.
- Test.
Just tried that...
Windows asked me if the file ran ok or if I required troubleshooting after I did that.
Restarted my PC and tried again and still no luck.
