Yes that is the mop that I'm using the one from the Nexus I didn't know how to make a backup for the files though do I just Copy and paste the folder somewhere outside the installation folder?

Yes, or you could copy just the files the Mode overwrites to a different folder, that way you could vanilla the game in no time.
But this is not an option here now, so please repair the game. (in Origin > Game Library > right click ME2 > Repair)
The mode will be purged after the repair, but it is reinstalled very quickly if the game runs again.
Test the game after the repair, and tell us the result.
