Hey, it sounds like there's a mismatch between the system output and what the TV's expecting.
In some cases this can be easy to fix, just wait for a (not short) cutscene and turn the TV off and on again. Full turnoff rather than standby. Some TVs will detect the active screen space and fix the issue automatically. If this isn't effective you can try running the TV's setup process again, where you'll be able to adjust screenspace bounds and such.
Another thing that has a chance to easily sort this is to toggle the output resolution from your Xbox's Settings General > TV & display Options menu.
hi there @EA_David
these solutions sadly dont seem to fix the problem; i need to add this glitch is only affecting mass effect 2; me1 and me3 seem to be unaffected
no other game on my series s is affected either and run fine; i have also seen there many other people in the forum with the same problem reported from both the series s and series x
is there any reason the recent patch may be causing this? because i have played many hours across me2 and this only started 3 days ago i believe
thanks
