Mass Effect 2 Genesis don't start

Are you starting with a generic Shepard? What system are you on? 

I am starting a complete new game without any Savegames or Characters of Mass Effect 1.

Im using Windows 8.1 and starting the game with Steam.

I tried to reinstall the game but its the same Problem again.

If you open the game details page for ME 2 in Origin and scroll down, is Genesis showing as installed there?
