I'd suggest bringing a friend over to help you get past it! Video games like this one are definitely solo gaming experiences, so it's not likely that you'd think of this option, but perhaps bringing in a buddy to help you get past this part would do the trick! After all, even Commander Shepard has to rely on his crew, right?

I am 58 years old and have been gaming over 20 plus years. Your solution is childish and rather insulting that I would not think about someone else helping: however, thank you for at least taking a stab at answering my post.
Basically I will find a "Trainer" that hacks the mini-games as it takes as many as 20 plus attempts.
