Mass Effect 2 Invalid License Reason Code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006)

Hi, I'm posting this here because my ticket on EA Support was deleted for no apparent reason.  I had an issue before where my product key on Mass Effect 2 on Origin was not being accepted by social....

with updateing you mean "repair" or "check for updates"

You can do both. One checks to see if you actually have the latest update and the other replace any files that are missing..  They are both good to do especially if you own a lot of the DLC itself, but its only really necessary if you are having an issue with content and not so much this error or the game in general.
