Mass Effect 2 License erorr/Won't Launch

I wanted to replay the series as a renegade since I'm off on spring break. ME 1 and 3 launch perfectly fine, but Mass Effect 2 blatantly refuses to play. (Granted, it was working up until Mordin's recruitment mission, but all of a sudden it just decided to * off on me.)
I went all throughout of the forms and options I had access too and pretty much nothing has worked thus far.
I've repaired/uninstalled/re-installed it several times until, I finally went as far as to purchase and download the Digital Deluxe Edition. This did not help at all because I then had to deal with the Invalid Cipher (0x0006) License error.
I thought I managed to fix it by deleting the old license(s), restarting my computer, and re-installing the game. The Cloud files said that they have synced, but now I seem to be back to square one, because The License error has returned. 
Please help, this is the most annoying gaming issue I've ever had to deal with, and its bringing such shame to the series for me. 

I downloaded it on Steam and it works fine, Origin is awful.
