Mass effect 2: Missing DLL MSVCR100.dll 0x7E
______
Hey.
the day before yesterday I was playing ms2.
but then the game froze in a way, where I had to log of my user to do anything.
when I tried to open it again. I got the error:
"invalid licens reasoncode" = Missing DLL: [MSVCR100.dll] Error: 0x7E
(the stuff in "" is translated by me might not be accurate)
I've tried reparing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling.
I even tried this below:

Manually running the following installers should fix this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\__Installer\vc\vc2005\redist\vcredist_x86.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\__Installer\vc\vc2005\redist\vcredist_x64.exe
Let us know how you get on, thanks.

But the vcredist_x64.exe isn't there...
so I've tried to dl vcredist_x64 2005 from windows.. and other vc, but that didn't help eaither.
Can you help me please?

YEAH! I fixed it myself.. finely...
I uninstalled every 2005 c++ on my computer(don't do that :P) and found that the 8.0.50727.42 is the one that mass effect 2 uses.
I went to D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\__Installer\vc\vc2005\redist and insttaled the 32 bit (you might have a slightly different installation folder, eg c:\)
Then I went to microsoft.com to download the 64bit verions.
I started the game before I installed the 64bit version, and that didn't work, but when I had both, it started fine.
this is a link to the 64bit version, but it might not work in a couple of months, I tried links from others when i was looking for the solution and they didn't work for me.
