Mass Effect 2 update and worst perfomance.

HI everyone,

a week ago I've decided to start ME2. So I downloaded it on Origin, went to bioware.com to get my DLC (Zaeed, Normandy Crash Site, Firewalker, Cerberus weapon and armor, arc projector), bought "Genesis" to pick up my ME choices and started the adventure.

I am pretty sure my ME2 versione was already at 1.02 (I've upgraded it manually with the patch from bioware.com, where I got the DLCs) and played about 11hours. Every was smooth thou I maxed out the graphic via the ME2 launcher.

This evening I opened Origin and a check on ME2 data, along with a 200+ mb download, started. It pretty much goes ok, but now I have a lower framerate, the visuals are somehow worst (seems like AA went off) and the launcher exists no more.

What is happening? It bothers me that a patch could screw something which was running perfectly.

My specs are the following:

I can't say why the DXDIAG says Intel HD 3000, but there is a 520mx! Any suggestions?

For any casual reader seeing this thread, the "Solution" isn't at all a good one, since neither the Intel HD 3000 integrated video chip, nor the miserable Geforce GT 520, are good enough for proper game operation.

I figured that the game was running on the Intel chipset and that this is no longer the case, resulting in a minor performance boost that would be under the quality standard of many, but not OP. For this reason, I marked the problem as solved.
