Mass effect 2 very low FPS

Question

Hello,I have an issue with low FPS in ME2. It does not matter if I run game in 720, 1080 or at 4k. It is virtually unplayable. It runs fine for 5-10 seconds and than down to 0-10 fps...few seconds later it is fine and than again down to 0-10fps. &nbsp;There are even low fps in game menu. Mass effect 1 and 3 are fine.I tried changing .exe as suggested in few posts but no resolution.The origin retail version does not work and so far no help from EA or Bio.I run FX8150, and HD 7970 CF. Game does same thing with or without CF on/off. I even pulled one card out and same issue.&nbsp;So any advice?

If you're playing this through Origin, go to Origin's setting and disable Origin In Game.

That solution helps if you have an Nvidia GPU. OP has an AMD GPU, which I believe doesn't automatically switch to integrated graphics. Still worth investigating, though.
