Mass Effect 2 won't start when attempting to unlock framerate.

Unlocking the Frame limiter in ME2 will almost certainly result in tearing and will not have any positive effect on game play.

Still, it should work through the ini without a problem.

Did you changed the settings in the "GamerSettings.ini"?
