mass effect 2 xbox 360 cerberus network not working

Hello EA when i load in Mass Effect 2 and its on the main menu it tries to connect to the cerberus network but for some reason it will not connect to it but when i press the y button and it tries to reconnect it still will not connect.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem, but for me, I get signed out of Xbox live when I start mass effect 2. I can sign back in, but still cannot connect to Cerberus network.
