Mass Effect 3 Asking For Code After Install

I bought the game through Steam, installed it and when I went to play it it asked for the code which Steam did not provide would like to buy it through EA but the game shows in my library and therefo...

  • Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
  • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
  • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
  • Move the "License" folder to your desktop.
  • Test.

Thanks, worked perfectly for me and I only play ME3 through the EA app not through steam.
