Mass Effect 3 crashes whenever I try to continue a previous save. Game Breaking.
I have recently completed Mass Effect 2 and have imported my character to ME3. After playing for 5 hours with no issues I saved and quit to get food. Once i returned the game would crash as soon as my Shepard loaded in. I did several fixes and came to the conclusion that my save was corrupted and i wasn't able to fix it. So after deleting the ME3 save file and starting a new save, again with my imported Shepard and started anew. However its happened again, but with 10 minutes of game time in the save (I was at the start of Vancouver).
If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it I would be very grateful.
OK, the log file is fine expect that it seems that your 2060 is not utilized at all.
Use this guide to make sure the game is using the 2060 and not the igpu.
Scroll down to "To force Windows to use a GPU for a particular app using the Windows display settings" and follow the guide.
You need to select the game exe (MassEffect3.exe) the launcher exe is not sufficient.
If it don't works after you changed the settings to the 2060, change it again to the CPU graphic and test.
