Mass Effect 3 issues with the logic of the cycles

Ok so I’ve always been mad about the ending of Mass Effect 3 for one simple reason. The idea that the Reapers are saving us from a cycle.

First of all, I don’t buy into the cycles. Even if every generation of the galaxy before us has created synthetics that rebelled does mean we’ll repeat those mistakes. I don’t believe in fate or inevitability.

Second, how are any species preserved by the Reapers? They only preserve genetic material/essence? So? What does that even mean? The Reapers have no free will and don’t act anything like the people who were harvested.
Third, the entire trilogy is based around the idea that we CAN all work together regardless of race and if we are synthetics or organics. The Geth didn’t wipe out their creators. In fact the only hostile Geth in the game are hostile because of the Reapers interference. EDI is another example of synthetics working with organics.

In the end, the Reapers fail at their own purpose. Also from what I understand of Leviathan DLC each cycles ends with the birth of ONE Reaper. How can they keep up with the losses? Look at how many our cycle alone manages to take out
