Mass Effect 3 launch error

Hi downloaded Mass Effect 3; game launches with same Issue. Invalid license. Reason code Missing DLL XINPUT1_3.dll Error: 0x0000007 Repaired, uninstalled, re-installed, trawled the net, cried a bit. Can anyone impart any info on this please? Thanks!

The error is related to DirectX. Have you tried reinstalling DirectX? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Thanks Fred - your insight guided me to the Direct X issue and thus solved by Program Files/EA Games/Mass Effect 3/_Installer/DirectX/redist/DXSETUP - right click, run as admin, update there. Worked perfectly thereafter, many thanks!
