Try to repair the game inside EA app.

(EA app: Library > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)

This should trigger the Steam repair, but let me know if it really does.

If you get the "some could not be validated" error message again, make a screenshot and load it up here.

Do not install any Mods before you test the game.
