Mass Effect 3 MP servers on 360?

I've been trying to get a game started with a friend. Can't get them into the lobby, pre-game. Didn't try them joining in the game, and honestly haven't played ME3 on multiplayer in years. Can't find a straight-up server status. If they're shut down for good, I'd just like the straight answer. If they're still up... then what's wrong? I'm sure it's not on my end. I live with 3 super-tech-geeks who love the online gaming.
