Mass Effect 3 PC unable to mod weapons

Hi, hope someone can help me. I am about 8 hours into the game now and despite picking up numerous weapons mods every time I go to a workbench there is nothing in the modify weapon section. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

    Are you sure you're trying to equip the mods to the weapons they're meant for? (Seems silly to ask, but just covering bases)

    Are you clicking modify then trying to attach the mods? (Since they don't auto-equip on the weapon)

    I have had another look and can't believe how stupid I've been. I didn't see the 'modify' button in the bottom right corner, I was just clicking on modify weapons and nothing was happening. All working correct now thanks!
