I just can't figure out what problem Origin has with this computer. I never had this kind of problem on my old computer. All my other Origin games have worked on the new computer too.
@BlueBrew Are you using mods at all? If installed incorrectly they could be causing problems.
Out of curiosity (because it's a problem with DAI at the moment for people with AVG and Nvidia GPUs, and it does the exact same thing you describe, or maybe because I'm really tired so my brain is just making random guesses 😛 ), do you have AVG on your computer? If you do, could you try making exceptions for the game and Origin in it (see this post if you need instructions)? If that doesn't work, try temporarily disabling AVG protection and see if that will let the game launch. Worth a try, even if the two games are on completely different engines. (Another program which causes this issue with DAI is something called Teamviewer. Again, worth a try).

No, I don't use mods or AVG or teamviewer. just trying to get the vanilla game running and finish my playthrough.

Do you have ME3 and Origin installed to your C: drive?
Please go to your "<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries" folder and run the "MassEffect3Config.exe".
Under "Grafic" set the game to windowed mode > Test.

No I have ME3 installed on my F: drive. My C: drive only has Windows and the Witcher 3 on it.
And I have already tried the windowed mode fix several times with the exact same results.
