@FishTacoAddict Can you start a new save, or does that not work either? Did you move only the game's installed files to the new hard drive, or did you redirect your save files as well?
I can start a new save but after putting 83 hours in already between the 3 games, I'm not gonna start over. I moved both install and save files over.
@FishTacoAddict I understand why you wouldn't want to start over with a new save. But I was wondering whether it worked at all, whether the save file itself was located in the same folder as your current saves, and whether the new save file was the same size as the current ones. There are plenty of possibilities, including that your old save became corrupt somehow; if you think that may be the case, try removing the most recent version of that save from the saves folder and loading a backup instead.
- @FishTacoAddict Your save files need to be located in your <Document Root>\
>\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\<Game number>\Saves
If you moved them, where are they located now?
Also, the information puzzlezadict mentioned/request would be very handy for us. Made new copies, tried it no dice. The save file is in the correct destination path along with the new save I created. It might have been corrupted somehow. I'm just gonna wait until a new patch appears. I appreciate the help
I doubt that a patch will help you.
You can load the new save you created without a problem?
Has the SSD the same drive letter than the old drive?
Did you tried to repair the game? Some files might got corrupted wile transferring
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
