Mass Effect 3
Like an idiot, I went against my gut instinct and purchased this piece of crap game on my brother's recommendation that despite the single player campaign being a slap in the face, the multiplayer was worth it. Since the game was down to $17 on Amazon, i figured it couldn't be that bad.
Boy was I wrong.
So I set about downloading some of the DLC that my brother recommended, and predictably, they were cancelled all on their own before completion. As it was not a problem with my ISP, it was on your end. Frustrated, I kept at it, eventually getting Reckoning, Retaliation, and Earth. Realizing how ridiculous this was, I tried to see if I could DL this crap without being in the game. Apparently not.
So I re-enter the game, and instead of being able to do stuff, it locks me out with a bar 'checking downloadable content...' which doesn't go away. Ever. This is before I go into the DLC menu, before I try single player, multiplayer, or extras, it straight up locks me out.
How can you lock me out of playing a brand new game? I guess you already have my money and theres nothing I can do about that so the joke is on me, but do you think this is a good business model? Do you think I will be buying an EA product again? Bethesda already lost all my future business because Skyrim wouldn't work on my 360, now you guys did it with Mass Effect 3. Is a measly $17 really worth the loss of future business?
You probably won't bother helping, because you don't care AND I won't buy an EA product ever again so who cares about my satisfaction. Hint, it isn't you guys. You probably have done all the market research to know that people will forgive even the greatest feats of incompetence and keep consuming. But I ask you, have you no pride in your work? Will your computer generated response be able to fool me into thinking someone works there?
