I've only read your 1st point but I figure I should mention that you retain some camera control during conversations, and the sound direction goes off the camera, not Ryder, so just turn your camera round. Right Thumb stick on consoles and I thing it's hold Right Click on pc.

what is annoying though is you scout out the area no enemies to be seen you talk with a contact and enemies spawn and kill you. or you die during a mission after changing your load out and they reset your load out so you cant change it since they always re spawn you in the middle of a fight

Hi Nanostronghold,
Thanks for the reply. I do use it already. Even though we can solve a certain number of conversation problems manually this way, I still feel the game should automatically pan the camera so the optimal orientation is obtained, and not ask the player to fiddle with it to be able to hear a conversation.
The other sound problem related to this that cannot be mitigated even with the player manually changing camera direction is the sound coming from your squad mates still being too low to hear.
e.g. Ryder initiate conversation with NPC, player manually adjusts camera to face NPC. Squad mate makes comment (sounds comes from left or right back of Ryder), and it can barely be heard.
We still need Bioware to fix this issue so conversations, be it cut scene ones or not, can be heard properly.
