How long have you waited? There is another uncommon bug in Andromeda that causes 5 minute loading screens on SSDs (might be longer on mechanical drives). I think this bug may be unrelated, but who knows, maybe you just have to wait a long time.

I am using a SSD, I'll try again and let it run longer, see if anything happens.
