Mass Effect Andromeda is disappointing still today in 2021

Mass Effect a is an ok game but disappointing still today here in 2021 Bioware's Budget for Mass Effect Andromeda qas much lower than the Mass Effect Trilogy budget. We may never see th supposed  "Fourth Ark AKA The Quarian Ark" in the main campaign. Also Thelack of weapons is also disappointing too due to the budgets. Also needs updating too. Well if the Turian Weapons and Batarian Weapons were added I would use them. The Turian Krysae Rifle would make quick work of the Remnant.the Phastos also would be nice to see too. We might not also see what Habit 7 would look like and the remnant vaults on Habitat 7 too. PSA:: All the rumors of Mass Effect Andromeda going to be added to the Legendary Edition are totally false! The graphics look outdated the face gen horrible. The female Ryder has these big fat lips that stick out like a sore thumb and make her look ugly and like she has a swollen face, the Nomad could use weapons and numerous other * that frankly might never ever happen or will be added to the game, the last time the game was updated was in 2017and still runs at Version 1 which is causing a lot of problems. My Xbox Version is at Version 1.12 and that is it. It would actually be nice to have the Trilogy Soundtrack added to Andromedathe Cyclone is the worst assualt rifle ever and would be nice to see  tbe Mantis Sniper Rifle, the L89-Halberd which was only available on the Nintendo version of Andromeda eeds tbe added to the game and the stuff that was also only exclusive to the Nintendo version added to the Playstation and Xbox versions and all the weapons of the multiplayer mode added to the campaign. The lack of heavy hitting weapons that do a hell of a lot  of damage are limiting  it would also be nice to see the M-22 Eviscerator shotgun added to the game. A Ahipping Container was donated by the Illusive Man to the Initiative and were smuggled aboard the Nexus and put in storage and forgotten about until 600 years later. The Container also contained repair manuals and blueprints of the shotgun and also the Paladin Pistol too I have My Suspicions that Cerberus and The Illusive Man were the main Financial Backers to the Andromeda Initiative. There is even Cerberus mentioned in the game too. As for How Batarian Weaponry from The Hegemony came to exist on the Nexus. Well, The Illusive man was gifted Terminus Armor and a bunch of Hegemony weapons like the Krehlok, and AT-12  shotguns by an  anonymous Batarian Donor who stole them from a Hegemony Warehouse. These were also smuggled abord and put in storage along with a crate of Krysaes and Phaestons. The Nexus needs a gun range as like originally intended.

  • While I would LOVE to see these added.......not ever going to happen.  All support stopped July 2017 after the online mobs showed up with pitchforks to roast the game.  Some of it was deserved but a lot wasn't, and it resulted in EA cutting off funding and support early for the game.

As far as the budget goes....yeah, less that the ME SERIES but not so much from what I understand a standard ME game, it was just wasted often due to trying something beyond the capabilities of the studio that was trying to make the game.  Not beyond Bioware, but beyond the Montreal(IIRC) studio of Bioware, who previously only did DLC and I think ME3 MP, not a full game.  They had all these great ideas but couldn't pull them off, thus wasting a bunch of time and didn't have a good vision for what they could do.

Personally, I think they fell into the trap of trying to create a game to compared to ME series instead of trying to make one compared to ME1.  They tried to do too much in the game.

    1)  They should have had less people trying to be love interests.

    2)  They should have made it setting up the Nexus and the first colony and exploring the surrounding area....maybe even dealing with the insurrection, Exiles, first contact with Kett and the scourge.

    3)  The time frame was off, 14 months was too short, so it should have been 5 years and MEA should have taken place in those years leading up to the first Pathfinder showing up on Hyperion.

    4)  They needed to go back and reread their character BIos and compare how they acted, because Vetra shouldn't have been a scoundrel background and Liam shouldn't have been a first in first responder/police action...their bios seemingly where backwards, in Vetra should have had Liams background and Liam should have had Vetra's.

But none of this is going to change, and it seems that EA/Bioware has cut off this limb and is going to try and forget it exists because by all appearances ME5 is back in the Milky Way with some sort of Shepard continuation or tie in.

From what I've found online, the L89-Halberd is available in all versions of the game from a merchant on Kadara, though there's only one tier and can't be developed further.

I'm a bit confused about the Nintendo part, since there is no Nintendo version of the game. The only Mass Effect game on a Nintendo console (so far) is Mass Effect 3 on Wii U. The Wii U version had an exclusive weapon called M-597 Ladon.
