Now I'm pissed. PC players in the US didn't have this option. It was digital code or nothing.
Just when I think EA can't get any lower, they find a trap door.
Still no game on the disks, All I want is be able to get a physical copy of the game, not digital one. And EA decided for me, that I am not worth it ☹️.

I think game developers need to cater to everyone not just the popular demand.

This is a great idea, but will never happen. It is a business, and they will look at a profit to cost ratio and see if it is worth it to them to do something. Basically if it costs them 4 million dollars to do something and they will not make 4 million or better yet 5+ back, then they will not do it. The cost of making the disks, storing, shipping, and dealing with returned unsold products costs money, and if they can't/don't make enough money to be worth doing, then they will stop doing it. And right now, most people are wanting downloads or at least are willing to use downloads and thus disks cost more for them and gives less profit. Long term, having downloads is better for game developers such as EA because they can keep more of the profits, have less overhead, and it is easier to make a change later in game development...ie short time after game goes "GOLD" to release date.
And no this whole cost/profit ratio thing isn't limited to game companies, it is every company looking to make a profit....only Governments can say they try to do something for everyone.

I hate all these games being down loaded. What's wrong with these game companies lately?

Discs are expensive and BluRay drives aren't that common on PCs. Many new PCs don't even come with a DVD drive. Game discs for PC games are rapidly becoming a thing of the past because most PC players prefer the convenience of digital downloads. Game publishers simply respond to general demand, which - as previous examples indicated - is not the same in each region.

It does rather feel like this 🙂
