Mass Effect Andromeda will not open

Hi there, 

I am trying to replay Andromeda that I bought on steam a while ago. I go to steam, click play, and EA pops up, telling me that the game needs to be uninstalled from steam for some reason. I try that, wait and reinstall, and again, just tells me I need to uninstall to play. A third time I tried, the game removes itself from my installed games on EA, yet it is still in steam? And now it will verify but refuses to open. I tried to contact support but the AI put me into a horrible three question loop before I cussed it out and came here. Any help is super appreciated, thank you
