Mass effect code not working

got a code as a bday gift but it won't work, the EA app recognizes that the code is the mass effect legendary edition code? but says it's invalid? how can I fix it

    Can you check that the country/region registered on your EA account is correct? You can double-check that on your account page here.

    This can sometimes mean the code you've received is for a different region, though if you're still unable to register the game to your account after that point it would be best to speak with our support team so they can take a look at the code.

    We're unable to review or verify a code via the forums, but you can find more information on how to reach support over at the EA Help website

  • I have no idea since it was a gift

    although asking my friend he said he made sure it is a global code

    we 2 are from different regions, he's from europe and I the middle east, and both of us could not activate the code

    If your current country is listed correctly in your account settings (from the link in my earlier post), then you'll want to contact our support team directly.

    They'll need to take a closer look at the code with you as we're unable to do so on the forums, thanks!
  • how could I do that? I tried but there is no way to properly contact anyone in the help section,

    the country is the right one, and if the code is global is should be working.

    I have the code but how do I contact the support? is there a direct link?

    I sent a ticket but got no answer yet so far

    @Abbz26 

    The link in my earlier post will walk you through the steps to contact support, though if you've already created a ticket it sounds like you're in the right spot!

    This link will let you create a new case if you haven't yet gotten to that point, and you can keep track of any open cases on this account page.

    Please keep an eye out for a reply once you've created a case and our support team will reach out as soon as possible, thanks!

  • weird, the moment I press on create new case that window is gone and I can't do anything?

    the only thing I see is the option to see what game I have a problem with and if I do that,

    the only thing I get as a "recommended support option" is the answers HQ which does not helpful at all

    @Abbz26 

    Hmm, I do see that as well, strange. We'll take a look at that, but you should be able to use a separate option to get your case created in the meantime.

    I'd try the options Mass Effect Legendary Edition  | PC  | Manage my account  | Manage account details, which should let you create a case to speak with support so they can take a look here.
