Mass effect Crashing on character creation screen.

Ok so i can load up mass effect all the way to the character creation screen but it then crashes, so in short i can't even start playing the game.  What i tried: Windows xp service pack 3 Run...

    Yes i fixed it now, sorry for wasting yout time.

    (Fixed the sneaky Plays.TV survived an uninstall)

He deinstalled a application called "Play TV".  It's an game recording software.

    I don't have play TV installed and I just had this problem. 

    Holy * I'm sick of ea and their *. 

    Nothing * works on origin.
