8 years agoMass Effect DLC Cost?
I just bought the Mass Effect Trilogy on pc, because i wanted to re play them before Andromeda... Mass Effect went smooth got the dlc and was very different from what i remembered. i did get the dlc...
a. The AHQ is for player-to-player technical and game-play self-help. You aren't talking to BioWare here, much less EA. We're all just fellow gamers, doin' the best we can...
b. You are free to buy, or not buy, whichever game version or DLC you think is worth the cost. If you think it's too much, don't buy it. Whinging about the price they've set for any particular product isn't going to influence EA one bit. The later GotY and other bundles have always been a *much* better deal than "base game + separate DLCs". EA almost never put the individual DLC on any kind of sale.
1. A support guy told me to post here cause EA would look at this way more often than listen to the support...
2. There no GOTY you can buy only the Trilogy wich offers diffrent dlc depending on ps3/360/pc...
3. NONE of the DLC is worth buying due to them costing more than the trilogy...
4. I was hopeing my fellow gamers would agree with this being mental insane prices... YOU can buy the new game + season pass..cheaper than the DLC for the over 7 years old games....??

There. You've answered your own question.
Others look at those same numbers and reach a different conclusion.
À chacun son goût...
Even the support guy agrees with me that the price is insane...
and so did all random customer i told it to while we was chatting (i work in Retail with game related stuff)
So far only you, agrees with the price... over 150 Dollar for 10-20 hours of game play...MENTAL insane
While I'm not entirley disagreeing with you, It would actually be $30.96 (I'm assuming you mean US) for the DLC with actual gameplay (Kasumi Stolen Memory, Overlord, The Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival).
Everything else is just fluff really, a few weapons, a few armors and some cosmetic fluff for squadmates. All entirely ignorable and you won't be missing out on a single thing.
Regarding the pricing though, it isn't so much the cost of the DLC that bothers me. It's the fact that they're apparently inextricably linked to the now defunct BioWare Points system and never even gets a sale discount, while the Xbox 360 versions do and PS3 actually has the DLC I listed included.
I mean, this doesn't affect me personally since I already own them all (yes, even the fluff 😳) but it would be so much better for people if they ditched the BioWare points completely and switched to straight cash prices and maybe offered them up on sale every now and then (the same goes for the other BioWare titles still stuck using those stupid points).
