Mass effect Game failing to launch
To whom it may concern,
I have recently purchased Mass effect 1;2 and 3.
I have installed Mass effect 1 through Origin using the dvd's.
Once the game was installed I tried to "Play".
Origin informs me that it is syncronising the game with Cloud.
It runs through to 100% and then nothing happens.
I have restarted my PC.
I have also through Origin selected "Repair installation" which completed without finding an error.
Please assist
I finally solved it as follows
I downloaded both patches.
Started Origin in Admin mode.
Tried to install the pathes and got the error "cannot find Mass effect"
Tried to run Mass effect in Origin as administrator and got nowhere.
Restarted my PC in desperation.
Ran Origin in administrator mode.
And then Mass effect launched.
Hope this helps someone outthere who is dying of frustration.
