Mass Effect Legendary Edition Steam Not Launching

Okay, this is going to sound a bit weird. I have Mass Effect Legendary Edition on both the EA App (Originally on Origin via a Humble Bundle) and Steam. I prefer to run the Steam version due to the controller support being more robust. This would be the first time I've booted it with the EA App on this desktop and once booted the EA App states that the game is not installed (exact message listed below). Essentially, the EA App is not recognizing the Steam copy as its' own entity as it is not listed in the Library Tab nor in the list of installed games and thinks I want to boot the EA App version. 

What makes this extra bizarre is that I tried to install it on my Steam Deck as an experiment and to my surprise, it boots and runs perfectly fine, but after trying the desktop again, it gave the same message. I have tried updating the EA App (Frustrating that the version on the actual download page is out of date) Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, Verifying the local files with Steam, uninstalling and reinstalling the game through Steam, and all the same screen. I then did a customer service chat and tried their suggestion of doing a clean boot which resulted in the EA App not even being able to boot at all so that clearly didn't work. 

So after all that, is there something that might get my Steam copy recognized by the EA App or at least something to get it to actually boot. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read this and thanks for your help.
