mass effect legendary edition won't launch

I originally purchased ME: LE on Steam, and after three hours of trying all the methods on the various Steam and EA forums, I refunded the game and bought it from the EA Store.  I also bought Andromeda.  Once the games were downloaded, I tried to launch them again; when launched through the EA app, both games showed "Launching Game..." for about 2-3 minutes, and then it went away and did nothing.  If I try to run the binaries directly, I get stuck at "Preparing game..." indefinitely and have to force quit the EA launcher. The binaries have all been given elevated permissions, including the EA app, and the result is the same.  I ran it on a "clean boot" to no avail. The event viewer has no errors, warnings, or informational log entries pertaining to EA or the game.  There is no explanation for what the app tries to do when "Preparing game...", so it is impossible to work around it.  I really want to be able to enjoy my purchase. However, the new EA app seems determined to prevent that.  Please help!

    Hey @Raakaar

Thanks for reaching out to the Mass Effect community, here on Answers HQ.

To check have you tried all of the following steps already?

  • Doesn1t work for me.

    Look my thread.

EA Play nao me deixa jogar na steam - Answer HQ

EA Play only repairs my Mass Efffect Legendary Edition but won't let me play. Every time I try to run the game EA Play starts and starts repairing the MELE, when it finishes repairing it and play stops and the game doesn't start, then when I tell the game to start EA Play tells me to repair it again and this cycle never ends.

I bought it on steam on the day I released the game, shortly after I paid for EA Play and then I didn't decide to renew.

After installing EA Play on my new pc I was asked to renew EA Play, I disregarded it and will not renew.

The point is that the game Mass Effect Legendary Edition was purchased on steam and not activated via EA Play, the game is mine, and just because I didn't renew EA Pllay you guys can't stop me from playing my game.
