Mass Effect Legendary won't download

Had to try to reinstall Mass Effect Legendary after it wouldn't load when I was forced to give up Origin but now it won't even download.  I've tried clearing the cache, admin mode, turning off firewalls and antivirus, clean boot and the guys on chat says they fixed the license problem that plagued the EA App.  His only suggestion is to post here.  Anyone have ideas?

    I would suggest switching back to Origin for the time being.

    Origin download link.

    To avoid the forced migration from Origin to the EA app:

    • Press the Windows key and "R"  at the same time.
    • Copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Origin" (Without the quotes) into the new Window > hit ENTER.
    • Open the "local.xml" file in the Windows Editor

    • Add the following line at the bottom of the file.

      <Setting key="MigrationDisabled" type="1" value="true"/>

    • Save.

    So EA has come up with an update for their last stable version of Origin.  It removes the workaround to not need to migrate to the EA App.  I guess I'll see if they got it right or if they deliberately broke the workaround.

    Today I found a solution. This worked for me. I changed my region in EA App Setting to United Kingdom (I'm from Sweden). Now the game is downloading.

    @Celorfiwyn That is interesting, thanks for the post. Do you get any issues launching when you swap your region back to Sweden after installing, or does the issue only occur at the install stage?
