Hi mikewalters24,

Have you already tried to install it as admin? Right-click on the exe and choose "Run as aministrator" to do that.

Hi, I have the same problem as mikewalters24, my boyfriend recently gave me mass effect as a gift through Amazon. I downloaded and installed the game, everything looked OK until I tried to play the game. It didn't start at all, so I uninstalled it and restart my computer. I run the installer again and when it asked me about the key code it just shut down the installer and showed this message: "the installation of mass effect has been cancelled. To run the installer again, please run setup" . I tried to run it as administrator, tried using a different user, nothing seemed to work.

Sorry about the topic intrusion but it was pointless to create a new thread for the same problem
