Mass Effect not launching in Origin

1.  It’s important to identify which product is experiencing the problem.

  a.   PC Version purchased via Origin - Mass Effect V1.02

  b. digital download - Origin

  a. i5 3570K / 4 / 3.40 - 4.20Ghz / 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz                                     

  b. ATI XFX 7950 / 3GB / Display Driver ver. 12.104

                          OpenCL(tm) Driver ver. 10.0.1124.2

                          Catalyst Control Center ver. 2013.0328.2217.38225

                                           

  C. Windows 7 SP1

  e. Direct X 11

3.  Problem Details

When attempting to launch Mass effect it simply shows the game syncing to the cloud and then nothing, this is the same whether I start origin as administrator, run the game.exe directly as administrator, set the compatibility modes, both with origin and mass effect.exe along with Run as administrator and run normally.

Also the masseffectConfig.exe does not seem to be saving any of the changes I make, again whether I make then after running as admin with compatibility mode.

Also when attempting to run troubleshoot compatibility, it comes up saying i am missing ssleay32.dll - However i have located the file in the 'Core' folder.

Any help would be appreciated thank you.
