Mass Effect Tactics HUD Squad Orders

No, it is streamlined across the games.

Only in ME1 you could issue attack and move orders for the squad inside the Tactics HUD and there was only one hot key for both squad members.

In ME 2 & 3 you needed to use the Q & E keys to give move or attack orders, that was implanted into ME1 MELE.

I know that they streamlined the move/attack and rally orders to Q, E, Z and C.

In the original ME, ME2 and ME3, you are able to issue Move/Attack commands while in Tactics HUD mode (paused game) (in ME1 with the command buttons inside the Tactics HUD (via mouse), in ME2 and ME3 via Q, E and Z).

You can't issue orders in MELE ME1 while in Tactics HUD, which is a step back in my book. Q, E and Z don't work on geometry or enemies while in Tactics HUD.

My question is: why was that done?

My second question would be: are you at least still able to order Move/Attack while in Tactics HUD in MELE ME2 and ME3?

Yeah, I guess you can work around that the way you describe.

Perhaps they address this oversight in the following patches.

Glad to hear it works the way it's supposed to in MELE ME2 & ME3.
