Mass effect trial carry over question

I've played the andromeda trial but if I have a product code I bought elsewhere will my data carry over or do I have to buy the game from the origin website for save data to carry over?
  • You still have to use origin, so it doesn't matter if you bought it from a third party, your saves will still be there, in the cloud and in my documents.

if i am not mistaken all retail codes for MEA on pc are tied to origin. so all your saves should follow. i would need someone in EA to confirm this though as i am not 100% sure.

if you play on console the answer is easy the code will be tied to xbox live or psn and you would just need to use your gamer tag for saves to follow.

Just popping in to confirm this. The codes are all consumed through Origin, and if you're playing on the same account you'll be able to continue from your initial/trial save.

    Thanks.
