Mass Effect uses Unreal, for all three games.
I know all 3 games run on the Unreal engine. That wasn't my question. Mass Effect 1 on (XBOX 360) and (PC) runs on an inferior version of the engine. Mass Effect 1 (PS3) is rumored to run on Mass effect 3's version, just like Mass Effect 2 (PS3) did. My question was: Why improve the game for a new platform and ignore the issues the game has on the existing platforms. If the rumor is true. All 3 games on PS3 will run on the best version of the engine. Which isn't a bad gift to PS3 owners that may have waited years to play the full trilogy. My issue is why punish the fans who supported the franchise for 5 years.

i think ea don't know much information about the game i 've posted something similar before and the gave me almost the same answer there are lots of mysteries about the trilogy version of the ps3 mass effect even if the first one works better than the others there will be the problem how to fix the situation on import shepard from the first game since mass effect 2 already have the choices inside the comic book and the game isn't programmed to receive a character and also the mass effect 3 have the same situation and bioware still keeping secrets about the game there are no videos or pictures or even much info about it and the will come out next week.

Yeah I smell a rat. No info usually means theres nothing good to report. Even if the game comes out on time the save import might not work properly so even if the games been updated, There are a number of issues that could arise.
