Tried running Origin as an Admin and ME works now.
I can run Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect 2 with no problems. However, I also have had no luck with Mass Effect working with "run as administrator" nor going through control panel, troubleshooting, and trying to load it from a Vista or XP Version.
The game is not all that expensive, but part of the fun, and the reason I bought the original Mass Effect was to go through the story line, build a character, etc. If Mass Effect will not work with Windows 7 EA should just post it so that people stop wasting money. I am sure they have made enough money they do not need to tarnish their name for nickels on a 5 year old game that has generated millions of dollars. Preferably they will post the fix, since the previous two ways to make Mass Effect work do not, like they do not work for me.
