If i want to start ME2 it does not start. There is only the Cloud-Sync. No error message appears.
I already tried some methodes, which i read in the internet, but nothing worked.

@Erecno Hi, what steps have you tried already? Have you been able to play on this system before?
Also if you post a link to your dxdiag that might also help.

Thanks.
I worked, when i installed it. But at this time ME2 did not find my Charakter from ME1.
After I used the configuration utility, i was able to play it once for at least 3h in a row, but when i closed it and wanted to play it again, it did not work.
As I said no error message, just nothing happened.
I already uninstalled Origin and ME2 and reinstalled it twice, but it didnt help.
Disable Origin for this game/ disable Cloud-Sync could not help.
*It worked
@Erecno Thanks, hopefully that helps to point things in the right direction. Can you try making a backup of your ME2 settings/saves/screenshots folder, then delete it? It should be located at My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2.
Once this stuff is removed try starting the game again (without using cloud sync) and see if this works. If it does, try syncing from the cloud and try again.
Thanks.
I deleted the saves (had no screenshots) and deactivated the Cloud-Sync, but it did not work ;( .
Thanks. Does wiping the BIOGame folder (it's full of config options) have any effect?
@Erecno Zuerst, wäre es einfacher für dich das Problem in Deutsch zu besprechen?
Did you used the configuration utility after the new instalation of ME2?
Is the ">drive>:\Dokumente\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save" folder completly empty? If the "Player1.prf" is still in there relocate that file too.
also repair the game files. In Origin > My Games > right click at ME2 > Repair Game > Test
If that nor works go to your ">drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\redist\DirectX" and run the "DXSETUP.exe".
Restart windows and test.
@EA_David No, also nothing happens.
Ok German is better, but it wouldn't be polite to do that here.
Please open a thread in this forum at the German board, Just add the threat title in German the DXDiag and the last post. I will be there. 😉
