@torphi Hey, by any chance could you be a little short on space? Sometimes it takes more space than the game's actual size to install fully. If you have some games you don't play, perhaps uninstalling them will let the process finish?
I have 570GB free disc space on extended storage and 460GB on base storage and I tried to download the game to both - situation is the same, not entire game is downloaded ;/

Thanks for checking that, it at least discounts disk space as a concern. When it hits 99.53 does it act like it's still downloading or does it give a particular message?
Have you restarted the system from the power menu since this has started, if there's some caching issue it may help. When it gets to 99.53 system pops up "Installed" message and thats it, download is not continued, it behaves like it was downloaded 100%. When i enter the game i see options to select the game and can run it without an issue for now (at least ME1). Console was restarted a few time, powered off etc.
@torphiI have the same problem too, but it is not unique to this game, F12020 does the same, but as it was in PS NOW thought that might be the reason, but this is a purchase so I should have full access to it.
When you check information for Mass Effect Legendary Edition on PS5 it says
SIZE 101.8 GB
Download Status 99.53 GB/101.7 GB (It should be completed but stays at this)
VERSION 1.01
It could be a PS5 glitch for Sony to fix.
What is the true size of the game? 99.53GB or 101.7GB?
If it is 99.53GB then the game information is incorrect, but if 101.7 then why is not downloading the rest?it seems to play ok but worried I may get to point where it says can not play as the rest needs to download, plus the game is still flagged as installing so can not move the game from internal to external or vice versa
I share your concern, don't want to get to the point when game is lacking of something - for example not entire audio downloaded etc. I also checked with my collegue who also has PS5 and his console shows 101.7 GB and completed status so its a bit odd - I tried to download it 5 times, 3 times on extended storage and 2 times to the main storage...
People on reddit have reported this issue too
https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/nbkpwu/ps5_legendary_download_question/
i tried redownloading it at least 5 times and tried pausing and resuming as one person said this fixed it for them, but it did not work for me.
I have downloaded it on my PS4 and fully completes no problem
it is 101.8GB
I then did a data transfer from PS4 to PS5 and now in the information stats it says complete for download status but size is unknown, although in storage setting it shows 101.8GB and can transfer from internal to external when I could not before.
I'm having the same issue, although mine says the total download status is 80.54GB/80.63GB with the total space being 80.68GB. This is after trying a fresh install yesterday after seeing the original download was only 70GB/80GB. I have cleared the SSD for roughly 200GB of available space and it's installed directly to the PS5 internal SSD. Other users are reporting the game is >100GB?
Yes the full size on ps5 is 101.7 GB. My other friend just bought the game and it fully downloaded for him.
BTW, after today's update game size increased to 101.3 GB 🙂
