ME1 windows 7 SOLVED

ok look around the forum but it looked like the problem wasnt solved. My problem was the game was crashing before it started. The game was patched to 1.02. tried running in admin compatability etc download patch manually and got 'mass effect not found re-install blah blah' So what I did was run origins in admin and that got it working. I hope this solves peoples problems.
